HERT begins with a contradiction. Its name is associated with disorder — a place where rules disappear and anything can happen. But creative freedom without intention produces only more noise.

The sequence

Noise

Every project begins as an accumulation — ideas, histories, references, ambitions, pressures and possibilities arriving together and competing at the same volume.

Observation

We do not attempt to silence it immediately. We watch it. Repetition is information. So is what the client keeps returning to without noticing.

Friction
